CONNECTED OBJECT OF THE YEAR: THE LABEL
As the connected objects sector is rapidly increasing, the label “Connected Object of the Year” is mean to be a landmark for consumers while making their purchase decision.
To receive the Label, the products are submitted to a consumer panel as well as a jury of experts in new technologies & media.
By carrying the label, your product benefits of consumers and industry experts’ endorsement.
It will also be the guarantee for the consumer to choose a tested and approved product.
The team “Connected object of the year” contacts brands producing and distributing connected objects in France. Then, the team gathers applications of those wishing to participate to the contest.
Brands have choice between 10 categories: Animals, Auto-Moto, Electrical goods industry, Children, Leisure, Home, Multimedia, Health, Security and Sport.
OPINION WAY study
All the applications collected are submitted to a representative panel of French consumers. Each file is thus judged on specific criteria (addictiveness, attractiveness, insight force ...).−
The consumers’ panel makes a selection of 3 applications per category.
The selected applications are examined by a jury of experts, which, is composed of main media players such as: Le Parisien, Marketing Magazine, 01net.com, Libération, Les numériques, Soon Soon Soon … all the members of this jury are experts in new technologies.
They gather in a “connected showroom” to test the products and determine the ranking.
The winners are revealed at the awards evening organized on November 15th in Paris. The results will then be widely communicated trough a major media plan.
